Within a `digital reality’ of collaged images I move within the virtual world and select images as I would in the `real world’: what interests me, what catches my eye, and what I want to share.
Graveyards are time capsules of complex interconnected biodiversity. Untouched by agricultural and urban development the web of life thrives. Walk among the `not so dead’ and cross a flourishing biomass.
A graveyard is a gateway to social history. With a little research, it provides a collective biography of people, customs and culture. For me the `in-between time’ is when the research becomes the art: modelling histories and embracing emergent ideas through 3D digital collage.
